Morning Seven: A Prayer To Start The Day

Hosea 6:3: “Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

With this beautiful Scripture from Hosea, we can pray and proclaim God’s promises just like the prophet did.

-Just as sure as the sun rises, you will appear Lord.

-I will not fear anything this day may bring in my life, because You will be with me from the very beginning of the day.

Psalm 5:3 “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you

and wait expectantly.”

This morning prayer focus reminds us to make communication with our Heavenly Father a priority in our lives.

In the morning before you get out of bed whisper sweet words of praise to the Father. He is right there waiting to put in place the beauty of the that only He can give!!!

Dear God, at the start of this new day, help me to exalt You above all else. Open the eyes of my heart that I might see you, and take it all in regarding how you are at work in my life. Give me wisdom to make the best choices, fill me with a desire to seek after you more than anything else in this world. Let your Spirit and power breathe in me, through me again, fresh and new.

Thank You that You are greater than anything that I may face today. Thank You that Your presence goes with me, and that my joy is never dependent on my circumstances, but it is my true and lasting strength, no matter what I am up against.

I ask that Your peace lead me, that it would guard my heart and mind in You. I ask for Your grace to cover my life this day. I love you Lord…I need you. In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
